When I left to go travelling last year New Zealand was always on my list as #1, even though I was living in Australia on a working holiday visa. The landscapes, activities, hiking, sun, snow, cultural experiences and beaches were what gave me the urge to go, and it did not disappoint. It's true what people say, everywhere you look is like a postcard, and not one photo I could take did it justice. It really is the most beautiful and peaceful place.
